projectdate:

Wednesday, April 8, 2020

CaronaVirus pandemic has created havoc world over and in India. Today our health professionals face a serious challenge in fighting against novel coronavirus outbreak, as many of them are not equipped with adequate protection gears. Government is putting in all efforts to supply these to hospitals. India has one of the lowest doctor-population ratios among major economies. Doctors and nurses are the frontline warriors in this fight against novel coronavirus outbreak in India. The problem is many of them are getting exposed to the novel coronavirus and we are losing them through quarantine or isolation. This might seriously hamper India's fight against Covid-19.
At RCMM we received a request for PPE Kits for doctors from J JHospital through Rtns,  Sunitaand Dr. Supriya, Nair Hospital through Rtn. DrHemangeeand SionHospital through Rtns. Shobhaand Dr. Sneha. Moment we received the request many of the members came forward voluntarily with donations. And then almost everyone contributed their share. Team consisting of Rtns. Prakash, Varsha, Dr. Snehaand Sunitamanaged the logistics of ordering PPE Kits and delivering to respective hospitals. We have provided 60 PPE kits each to Nair and SionHospitals and 185 PPE Kits to J JHospital. I am sure this will bridge the gap till they receive their quota from the Government.
We all at RCMM salute these Doctors, Nurses and health professionals that are fore fronting, risking their life to keep all of us safe.
