Dial a Santa

Dial a Santa project was initiated by our own member PP VinayakSahasrabudhewith intention to spend happy moments with people who are physically challenged.  RCMM has continued with this project year after year.
This year our Santa visited PragatiVidyalaya, Dadaron 24thDecember to bring cheers and smiles to deaf and dumb children. About 100 Children from nursery to 10th standard are taught here. One can see how eagerly these children look forward for Santa.  This was followed by visiting patients under Palliative Care.
RtnsUma, Dr. Hemangee, Pradnya, Kavita, Neeta, Latikawith her grand daughter Juhi, Vaishali, Rashmi, Manasiand Lalitalong with Sunitaparticipated in the celebration.
Rtn. Sunitahad carefully selected the gifts  - Colouringbooks and Colourpencils, Compass box for students of standard 5thto 10thalong with snacks Rajgira  laddoosand cake.  The gifts and snacks were liked by the students as well as the patients. Many of the children started colouringthe pictures minute they received the gifts.
It was heartening to see smile on their faces in spite of the difficulties they are going through!!

We have excellent Partners in Service like NASEOH, Bombay Physical Cultural Association (BPCA) with whom we team up for various humanitarian projects of social relevance.

Our plan is to empower the villagers in Shisne, Dahanu Taluka, Maharashtra, for sustained economic and community wellbeing through setting up a Rotary Community Corps (RCC)
