Sunday, September 6, 2015

After the successful eradication of POLIO, Rotary has taken up on eradicating TB as one of the thrust area, spreading awareness in people about TB so as to curb the rampant growth of TB patients.
In line with Rotary mission, RCMM had organized the Lung Health Check up Camp at SulabhaSpecial School for the students of the school, their parents and near by locals. Purpose of the camp was to identify TB patient if any and guide them further to come out of deadly disease.
The camp helped to bring in awareness in people about TB and what precautions to be taken to prevent the same. Doctors from Kohinoor hospital helped to check up the patients and explained each and every person on TB, what precautions to be taken.
Students, their parents and locals took advantage of the camp. Staff of the SulabhaSchool helped to manage the people and guide them to doctor. Rotarians also helped at registration desk, explaining the patient what precautions to take. Special thanks to Rtn. Anuradha coordinating with SulabhaSchool to conduct the camp.
