Monday, March 15, 2021

Aakanksha Rehabilitation Center(ARC), NGO has been working for last 18 years in Savedi, Ahmednagar for rehabilitation of physically as well as mentally handicapped persons. RCMM received a request from them to help in erecting two stalls (Tapari) to two handicapped persons for running Polibhaji Kendra. This will help them to earn their lively hood  and be independent. RCMM had received the donation specifically for helping visually impaired persons. Both of them are visually impaired and one of them is also having hearing disability and speech disorder.
ARC helped RCMM in getting the quotations from local vendors and ensuring for proper erection of the stalls. We had plans to visit the place for handing over the stalls, but due to Corona Pandemic had to cancel the plans. This will be definitely help them to lead better and respectable life.
